After our 4th of July R&R, I had a meeting in Philadelphia. The girls tagged along and toured the city. We made it up to Ivyland to see Aunt Rose, Uncle Paul, Aunt Beth and Uncle Joe. We really enjoyed our visit.
We also drove out to Bayville, NJ to visit our Cousin Larry. Larry had the hook up at the boardwalk and the girls won what they wanted on games!
Here's a peek at how we spend out hot summer days - getting out on the water is the best way to spend a summer day! When there is no wind for the sails - we anchor out and my cousin Richie brings out the ski so we can all get wet!
On to the new school year - Elizabeth and Carlea at Tap and Ballet class. They are enjoying their lessons. We have made a tradition for their Friday afternoon class. Caprice and I have an hour break to catch up on reading and then we have Friday Night Pizza parties.
In September we expressed our constitutional right to assembly. We joined over 100,000 others in protest to the war. E & C enthusiastically walked a few miles with us and we all participated in something that matters to us. It was quite an experience to be part of the 100,000 Americans in Washington, D.C. that day.
My job brought me to Beijing, China in October. I made time to visit the Great Wall and there is no picture that can describe the experience. This is a must - right up there with the Grand Canyon! Truly amazing...
Elizabeth and Carlea choose their costumes this year and I have to say they are just adorable! Non Bias opinion, of coarse!!
